Pyar is a jewellery line designed in Singapore and handmade by artisans in an ethical jewellery factory in Bali. Derived from the sanskrit word ‘priya’, meaning beloved, the line takes inspiration from treasured moments of stillness, rhythms of nature, and human connection.
The odyssey of travel guides the inspiration for Pyar; from found keepsakes in Portugal, a drawer of heirlooms in Singapore, to freshwater pearls stumbled upon by boat on the waters of East Nusa Tenggara. Pyar unearths these frames of life into a timeless aesthetic, seeking unity in refined, alluring, and instinctive forms that hold soul and story.
Working exclusively with certified recycled silver and brass, the materials are sustainably sourced from an ethical maker and supplier located in the north of Bali. Since its provenance in 2015, the line has grown a coterie with the likes of artistes, DJs, textile creatives, film photographers, and visionaries; muses who have found an affinity with the ethos and designs of Pyar.
Today, Pyar can be found in selected boutiques across the island including Badt and Co, Le Salon, Manifesto, Naturally Better Co and Zerrin.

A cardinal Aries through and through, Naz is an innovator and designer down to her roots. Having worked successfully for years as a graphic designer and educator in fashion, Singapore-born Naz founded Pyar after marrying her Scottish half. A serendipitous trip of self-discovery brought her to the shores of Bali, the Island of Gods. There, in a traditional joglo house, she created her first piece of jewellery: a swivel ring made from found silver. It is this kinship sense of romance in travel and stories of love triumphing all odds that inspire her designs.

Hungarian-born with Italian roots, Gabi’s inquisitive nature took her on a path that yoked her love of fashion with e-commerce and analytics. Always on the lookout for the next unique thing - she then moved to Shoreditch, the cool part of London, where she met her English half, whom she has 2 girls with. A true expat at heart, Gabi’s journey towards the novel and unexplored has taken her across 5 continents before settling in Singapore. After all, home is where the love is.
