Mismatched earrings — on one ear, the jhumka i.e. traditional South Asian earring that was a favourite among maharanis [Sanskrit: great queens] gets re-invented and features silk gima threads carefully hand dyed, with natural dyes.
Hawa - Using natural colorants from henna leaves to present this light, sandy colour named after the Hawa Mahal palace in Jaipur, India. Other than producing natural colours, these plants and herbs were also used for medicinal purposes.
Wear them together on one ear or mismatched on both ears or pair them with other pieces.
The Maharani Earrings are handmade in Bali using recycled brass with a hammered finish, nickel-free. The silk threads are hand dyed and hand fringed in Singapore.

x Projectcoal: A collaboration featuring natural dyed silk threads by projectcoal. Old-world regality meets modern sensibilities in these mismatched ornaments made from recycled brass, on one ear, the jumkha i.e. South asian earring that was a favourite among maharanis [Sanskrit: great queens] gets re-invented with hand-fringed, natural dyed silk gima tassels while a brass stud graces the other lobe. Using natural colorants from the madder plant, henna leaves, alkanet root, and the bark of the gum arabia tree to arrive at an elegantly rich, earthy palette.
